Quick &Easy Easter Baskets

 Hello fellow crafters!

Yesterday was the first day of British Summer Time and I actually saw the sun for about two minutes ๐Ÿ˜„ Let's hope we have at least a few days of sunshine coming our way over the next few months!

Todays project is a basket for the childrens Easter goodies. There's just a week to go so made these just in time.

The baskets are now all filled ready to go. Four will be delivered tomorrow and my older grandson will recieve his during the coming week

They're made from one sheet of 12 x 12 paper as follows ...

12 x 12 cut at the 10" mark (the separate 2" strip will be the handle)

Score on the 12" side @ 2, 4, 8, 10

Score on the 10" side @ 3 and 7

On the 12 x 2 strip, score on the short side @ 1/2" and 1 1/2"

You will also need 1 strip of card 3/4" cut lengthways from an A4 sheet.

Video of how to put the bag together:

  2. Hi!
I just found your blog via a utube 12x12 dsp bag that came up out of nowhere, which I will be making because your instructions are so easy. I then ventured over to your blog and will also make the Easter baskets next year for sure and can hardly believe all the fun ideas I am seeing. I am absolutely subscribing and thank you for your dedication. I have been using SU! products for over 20 years, so it takes a lot to impress as I am an avid SU! blog follower but I so am!!!
