Ink & Share Scrapbook blog hop Sketch Challenge

Hi Crafters,

Welcome to another Ink & Share  Scrapbook blog hop. We are a group of Stampin Up! demonstrators who love to scrap! If you've hopped in from Sue, a big hello to you. If you're starting here with me, please do hop on to the next person to get lots of layout ideas.

This month, we've followed a sketch to create a double page spread. Having the possibility of 5 photos made me think long and hard about what I wanted to use. In the end I altered it slightly and used 4.

My choice of papers, etc all come from the Come Sail Away suite on pages 144 & 145 of the catalogue. I used two sheets from the DSP pack and also various cards from the Memories & More pack.

The "Observations" stamp is an ancient 7 Gypsies one I bought when on holiday in America back in the early 1980's - when stamping was still fairly new to the UK! It's the only non SU thing I used and thought it fitted as the 'key fob' (this is part of a keyring I bought on board the ship).

You'll find an element from the Sail Away trinkets too. I love this suite, its ideal for mens cards, and as I've used on these scrapbook pages, travel photos. My photos are of my friend and I on a cruise round the Mediterranean in 2017. The photos feature Barcelona (the town square) and Lisbon (on a duck tour -amphibious vehicle).

I had a great deal of fun putting this layout together and it brought back some very happy memories, especially the wall to wall sunshine! Please now do hop over to Michelle by clicking the next button for more inspiration to make your own scrapbook memories, but before you do, please leave a comment below so I know you've stopped by.

Happy crafting and see you again soon
