Ink.Stamp.Share blog hop - Men

Hi Crafters,

Welcome to another Ink.Stamp.Share blog hop. This month we are featuring the men in our lives. How hard is it sometimes to decide what kind of card to make them? I know I struggle at times. Well, if you've hopped in from Ingrid, you're already going to be brimming with ideas, and there are lots more ladies who are eager to show you what they've been doing, so please do click the link below once you're done visiting me and see some more great ideas 😁

My inspiration came from the Stampin Up Artisan team who always have lovely ideas for us and also a lady in the USA who showed me how to make this particular card on her YouTube channel.

I'm using the Geared Up Garage stamps and matching Garage Gears Thinlits dies. Theres a whole suite of goodies to go with this set, if you get the chance go take a look!

I had a practise run making these girly cards, but my YouTube video below shows you how I made the Fathers Day card.

Basic measurements:
Card base - 8" x 4 1/4" scored @ 5 1/4" and 6 1/4"
Card lower front - 8" x 2 1/4" scored @ 1 3/4" and 2 3/4"
Base layer 1 - 5 1/8" x 4"
Base layer 2 - 5" x 3 7/8"
Front panel layer 1 - 5 1/8" x 2 1/8"
Front panel layer 2 - 5" x 2"
Wiper 'mechanism' 1 +/2" x 1 1/2" (see video for scoring instructions)

Hope you enjoy the rest of the hop. Please now click Next to go see what Sandra has been making.
