I've chosen the Botanical Butterfly DSP (designer series paper) which came out in the first wave of SAB back in January. I love butterflies so this was a must - and I've managed to get three packs! So it'll last me beyond SAB which ends on 31st March.
I love making 3D projects, so this month I've made some cute little table favours/gift boxes. I took the colours from the dsp, so I have used Lemon/Lime Twist; Grapefruit Grove; Balmy Blue; Highland Heather and Daffodil Delight card to make the boxes.
I started with a piece of card measuring 8 1/4" x 7"
Score on the long side @ 2", 4", 6", 8"
Score on the short side @ 1/2", 2 1/2", 4 1/2", 6 1/2"
I then cut the DSP into 1 3/4" squares. you'll need 6 for each box.
Round the corners on the top and bottom flaps and your box is made! You can store it flat for later if you wish.
I punched a 1 3/8" scallop circle. Then stamped the butterflies using Butterfly Gala, using matching ink for each box and punched them out. I added some bling by using pearls for the butterfly bodies.
Simple boxes that I think look stunning 😄
