Hello, and welcome to our 2nd Blog Hop! This time we are using the theme Spring/Easter. As usual Stampin Up! demonstrators from across the globe are getting together to bring you a feast of creativity. After all the snow here in the UK (and there's still some forecast for when this blog hop goes live), Spring will be very welcome!
So whether you've started with me, or hopped in from Tricia, sit back and enjoy all the lovely creations and maybe make some of your own.
I've chosen as my project this month to use the stamp set "Colorful Seasons" along with its companion "Seasonal Layers" Thinlets die set.
I adore this bundle, and use it often. The flowers remind me of the blossom starting to come out on the trees. We've had a long cold winter so time to enjoy some sunshine and Spring!
This card sums up what I am looking forward to in the coming months. Lovely spring days where i can sit in my garden and enjoy the views. I live at the top of a hill and can see across the valley ... not to rolling hills. Oh no, nothing as romantic as that! But even the view across my part of town is pretty, full of greenery and the sunsets are to die for!
So, how did I make this card? Its very simple. I just sponged Lemon/Lime Twist ink along the bottom, then Soft Sky along the top. Stamped the branches in Soft Suede and added the blossoms in Powder Pink and Melon Mambo - my favourite ink colour at the moment. The sentiment is Basic Black. Finally I added the chair raised on mini dimensionals. I have one of these chairs in the garden, just waiting for me. Mines looking a bit worn round the edges too.
But enough of my musings, please do now hop over to Kirsten for more Spring inspired creations. You can do this by clicking on the image below or on her name in the list

Pearmain You are here!
Karen, your card is so soothing to look at but I had to laugh when I saw it since our theme is spring and I'm still looking at snow on the ground with a potential of more flurries on the way. We'll be doing Easter egg hunts in snow piles!!
